Responsabilidades
- As a Selector Lettuce, you will play an important role in supporting our breeding programs by contributing to the development of new lettuce varieties.
- You will work closely with breeders, helping to evaluate and select promising materials, organize and monitor trials, and ensure accurate observations and reporting throughout the breeding process.
- In this role, you will act as a key support and backup for the Lettuce Breeding team, particularly Brazil and Japan projects.
- You will also support additional breeding initiatives and trials, helping breeders make informed decisions on future projects and variety development.
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Plant Sciences, Biology, or a related field.
- 0 to 3 years of professional experience, or a recent graduate with a strong interest in plant breeding.
- Fluent English is mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Independent and proactive working style.
- Practical mindset with a supportive and collaborative attitude.
- Ability to make observations, analyze results, and support technical decision-making.
- Willingness to travel and participate in training activities when required.
