Responsabilidades
- Coordinate the Solid Waste Plant (PRS) and the qualification of environmentally critical service providers.
- Maintain records and documents updated and traceable.
- Monitor monthly indicators related to waste.
- Coordinate the WWTP, including the entire wastewater treatment process, updates and adaptations of operational procedures, records, release of monitoring results, and organization.
- Maintain environmental procedures updated.
- Develop and monitor the implementation of the Internal Audit Plan.
- Keep the management program legal requirements and other requirements updated, implementing necessary adaptation actions, including technical and regulatory standards, license and concession conditions.
- Ensure that the environmental management system is established, implemented, and maintained in accordance with ISO 14001 requirements.
- Perform annual face-to-face employee dialogues to discuss performance, potential, and development, provide effective feedback, and address poor performance.
- Ensure proper onboarding and integration of new employees.
- Create a culture of safety and health through leadership and act as a role model.
- Ensure application of ESH regulations and management methods and tools (e.g., 5S systematic) and engagement of people.
Requisitos
- Degree in chemistry, environmental engineering, biology, or environmental management.
- Experience in wastewater treatment processes using activated sludge.
- Experience in the implementation and maintenance of an environmental management system.
- Experience in environmental audits and ISO 14001 certification.
- Experience in waste management.
- Knowledge of environmental legislation and technical standards.
- Knowledge of chemical analysis in food, environmental, and inorganic fertilizer contexts.
- ISO 14001 certification and experience as an environment coordinator.
- Advanced English.
