Responsabilidades

• Work on the design, implementation, and consolidation of a Biofoundry for the production of molecules of pharmaceutical interest (chemical substances and proteins).
• Plan and develop strategies for the production of biosynthetic products via biotechnological pathways.
• Develop complex genetic constructs and perform activities related to the cloning of biosynthetic genes.
• Use of automation tools for synthesis, cloning, clonal selection, evaluation of biosynthetic products, and optimization of heterologous strains.
• Propose and implement new technological solutions, contributing specialized knowledge to the development of the platform.
• Work collaboratively with teams in molecular pharmacology, automation, computing, and other related research areas.
• Establish and strengthen interactions with collaborators and national and international research networks.
• Prepare technical reports, analyses, presentations, and scientific documentation related to the projects.

Requisitos

• QUALIFICAÇÕES MÍNIMAS
  • Completed postdoctoral studies in Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related fields.
  • Solid experience in cloning biosynthetic genes and constructing complex genetic systems.
  • Experience with automation applied to Biofoundry platforms or biotechnological processes.
  • Fluent in English.
• QUALIFICAÇÕES PREFERENCIAIS
  • Previous experience on Biofoundries.
  • Knowledge of biosynthesis, biocatalysis, and synthetic biology.
  • Experience in implementing new technological platforms or scientific infrastructure.
