Responsabilidades

• Strategic Innovation Leadership: Spearhead Precision Breeding strategic innovations for the Soy Brazil produce teams, collaborating effectively with stakeholders across various functions including Planning, Nursery, Operations, Digital IT and laboratory teams, both on-site and remotely.
• Global Representation: Serve as the primary representative for the site in global discussions and initiatives focused on Precision Breeding technical innovations, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and sharing best practices.
• Continuous Improvement Advocate: Identify and leverage opportunities for continuous improvement within a complex environment by staying closely connected with all projects of the Nursery Solutions team. Employ cutting-edge technologies and develop scalable, efficient methodologies that enhance productivity and outcomes.
• Project Guidance and Knowledge Dissemination: Provide expert guidance on project execution while disseminating technical knowledge throughout the Soy Brazil produce teams.
• Research Documentation and Reporting: Organize, document, and report research outcomes in a timely manner, ensuring transparency and accessibility of information to stakeholders, thereby supporting informed decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to drive innovation and efficiency, ensuring that all teams are aligned with the strategic goals of the Precision Breeding initiatives.
• Performance Metrics Development: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of Precision Breeding projects and continuous improvement initiatives, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
• Training and Development: Mentor and train team members on best practices in Precision Breeding and continuous improvement methodologies, promoting skill development and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requisitos

• QUALIFICAÇÕES MÍNIMAS
  • PhD or MS degree or bachelor’s degree with experience in plant breeding.
  • Experience in Soybean seed production, research or in a related field of research.
  • Proficient with computer software; demonstrated abilities to design experiments, collect data accurately, analyze and interpret data and understand how to apply them to achieve business results; basic data skills (statistics, data visualization et al.) is required and advanced skill set (programing, coding et al.) will be bonus.
  • Ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-based environment. Manages multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong problem solving, track record of process improvement, and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence partners and customers.
  • Capacity to communicate and work effectively with all management levels in a multi-cultural organization.
  • Passion to grow and willingness to be intellectually challenged, willingness to influence and inspire others.
  • Advanced English (communication skills are required).
  • Availability for on-site work with the possibility of a flexible model (once a week).
