Responsabilidades

• Plan, design, and conduct from simple to complex laboratory experiments in an autonomous way.
• Preparing detailed reports with results, recommendations and conclusions and be able to synthetize and have a critical view of the results.
• Critical evaluation of methods and results.
• Contribution to value creation for our customers.
• Estimating the resources and time required to conduct an experiment and monitoring performance to ensure these targets are met.
• Purchasing and inventory management.
• Good communication internally and externally of their results and other activities of the laboratory, including our innovation, commercial and sales teams.
• Performing routine maintenance and safety checks on laboratory equipment to ensure it is in good working order and propose for changes if needed.
• Experiments performed with high reliability and be proactive with new ideas for improvement.
• Super-user of relevant equipment.
• Follow hygienic and safety rules from the Department and Site.
• Responsible for revealing any non-conformity observed during the daily work.
• Applies own expertise to contribute to a task or a project they are involved in.

Requisitos

• Professionally trained laboratory technician or similar science education with experience in microbiology and molecular tools.
• Technical Communication in English (speaking and writing).
• Proficiency in most common computer programs such as Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Teamworking attitude.
• Multitask Skills.
• Independent, flexible, pro-active and problem-solving attitude.
• Passionate, enthusiastic, a fast learner, curious and open minded.
• Structured, quality oriented and a self-starter.
