In this role you’ll make an impact by

  • Being responsible for managing and growing key accounts in Brazil ensuring excellent service and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborating with our technical services and marketing teams, where you will collaborate and align solutions with customer needs and market trends.
  • Delivering assigned business targets related to revenue, margin, profit, and cost.
  • Owning and growing customer accounts in the assigned territory, ensuring excellent service, support, and long-term partnership development.
  • Driving revenue and margin growth by identifying new opportunities, managing the opportunity pipeline, and converting leads into sales.
  • Working closely with regional technical services, regional marketing, and other functions to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Monitoring market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity, and using those insights to refine sales plans and inform the broader team.

Other tasks

  • Contribute to cross-functional projects related to the key accounts operations in other countries or regions
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events

Industrial/Technical background

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret sales data.
  • Experience in the industry or region covered by the role

Expected educational background and years of experience

  • Degree in agriculture, biology, veterinary sciences, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in sales management
  • Proven ability to develop key accounts and manage senior stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in driving revenue growth, commercial strategy execution, and effective forecasting.

Years of relevant experience

  • Minimum 5-10
  • Language requirements and proficiency level:
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English; Spanish language is a plus.

  • Effective Communication: Clearly and persuasively conveying ideas to clients, team members, and stakeholders. This includes active listening and tailoring messages to the audience

  • Adaptability: Adjusting strategies and approaches in response to changing market conditions and client needs
  • Emotional Intelligence: Understanding and managing emotions to build strong relationships and handle conflicts effectively
  • Sales Acumen: Driving sales by understanding the sales process, identifying leads, nurturing prospects, and closing deals
  • Self-driven and add focus on execution, follow up and delivering
