Responsibilities

• Conduct a survey of areas to verify the environmental suitability, diagnosis, inventory and identification of degraded areas.
• Monitor the areas in order to identify the characterization of the ecosystem, regeneration of the flora, identification of the species present, elaborating preservation projects for each type of area according to the environmental code.
• Perform environmental monitoring of high-value areas that are intended for conservation.
• Conduct environmental impact studies and management plans seeking ways of sustainable exploitation of a particular natural resource.
• Provide training based on the data collection of the occurrence in the forest areas, cutting mechanisms, planting and conservation of biodiversity.
• Responsible for carrying out environmental diagnoses in order to identify the soil, climate and vegetation characteristics of the region.
• Issue technical advice for the environmental licensing of incentives.
• Acting as a facilitator in environmental audits and meeting certification requirements and recommendations.
• Perform environmental education work (Environmental Education Center) directly with the communities in partnerships with researchers and universities seeking sustainability and environmental conservation.
• Interface with partner companies in the execution of environmental monitoring works.
• Know and comply with the Quality, Safety, Occupational Health and Environment policies determined by the company, ensuring that the requirements and standards of the area correspond to the system adopted by the company.

Requirements

• A degree in the related job field.
• Those with 1 to 2 years of working exposure or experience in a similar role will have an advantage but not essential.
• Willing to relocate to the job location.
