Activities

• Applying your specific knowledge base supporting client consulting projects;
• Support a team of consultants in very large and highly complex projects; on smaller projects, working independently on project execution and delivery;
• Understand the different database structures of a project and in some cases, apply statistical techniques to discover patterns, trends and relationships in the data. This involves building and running predictive and segmentation models, as well as performing exploratory analysis to gain initial insights;
• Working collaboratively across multiple areas within agribusiness consulting as well as other S&P global consulting groups;
• Be flexible to work on projects in other areas of agribusiness;
• Ability to manage consulting projects from initial proposal development, project costing and project development to final client presentations.

Requirements

• A qualified professional who has technical and analytical skills to collect, organize and interpret agricultural data, extracting significant information and insights in consulting projects;
• Experience of at least 3 years in agriculture or related companies in agriculture.
• Basic knowledge in agribusiness or bioenergy through experience gained in courses, work for industry, consulting and/or government;
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and to navigate and excel in a complex matrix organization;
• A combination of data science knowledge such as: statistics, databases, georeferencing and data storage systems;
• Desirable knowledge in forecasting and prospecting analysis
• Bachelor’s degree (desirable in agriculture, energy, statistics, data science, environmental science, engineering or economics);
• English language skills (intermediate level).
