Key Responsibilities

  • Distribute biotech company products, mainly to in-vitro Diagnostics manufacturers, Pharma and Biotech companies, and in addition to CDMOs, CROs and research centers exclusively in Latin America.
  • Identify growth potentials in the respective product lines and develop strategies and tactics for specific customer segments, ensuring that they are implemented to achieve defined sales, profit and other business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strategic long-term trusting relationships with clients to accomplish organic growth, long-term company targets and client success.
  • Attend national and regional exhibitions and conferences to gain a better understanding of the regional markets and its dynamics.
  • Work with local or regional distributors where necessary
  • Matrix-Lead or participate in an international or even global Account-Management Team for your Key-Account(s).
  • Active presentation of ideas and concepts as well as participation in projects for the further development of business strategies and business processes.
  • Closely follow industry and market trends and best practices.
  • Active communication with all relevant teams and stakeholders across the company.

Job Requirements

  • Master in natural sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology), ideally with a Ph.D. degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of previous experience working within a sales role. You achieve above-average results (net revenue, gross margin & other targets) and willingness to complete even difficult projects with a positive outcome.
  • Strategically and inspire people with your ideas.
  • Knowledge of the pharma, IVD and healthcare markets as well as of the organizational, scientific and regulatory processes in biopharmaceutical development and production.
  • Cooperation across hierarchies and organizational units is the key to stable networks that help us move forward together.
  • Solve difficult situations through your creativity and your ability to look at things critically – even unconventionally.
  • Communication and team skills are highly developed.
  • Fluent, preferably native speaker, of Portuguese. English is business fluent and ideally, you speak Spanish as well.
