As principais atividades serão

• Drive and operationalize the group strategy in collaboration with the Business Unit and SHE Competence leads;
• Represent the SHE functions and develop SHE leadership in regional operational business teams;
• Monitor site SHE & Security performance (leading + lagging) and advise management;
• Pursue SHE & Security synergy in the region with regard to actions, programs and resources, e.g., ensure that regular compliance checks at site level are performed;
• Drive incident management, investigation, learnings, communication in order to maximize learning and prevent recurrence.

Requisitos

• Minimum 10 years operational working experience in a (bio)chemical manufacturing environment, preferably with line management experience, required;
• Knowledgeable on Occupational Safety, Process Safety, Product Safety, Health and Environmental topics;
• Judgement skills to translate and set standards for our sites and profound auditing and incident investigation skills;
• Change management skills and an unwavering drive for continuous improvement;
• Ability to build trust while focusing efforts on key priorities, connecting and aligning teams towards shared goals, and building effective groups that can deliver results;
• Courage to challenge and confront senior regional/site management on SHE concerns and issues while maintain a professional and respectful behavior;
• A deep understanding of the regional culture is needed to be able to create the necessary trust needed in this role;
• Bachelor or master’s degree in engineering, Science or one of the SHE disciplines.
