Your Responsabilities

• Deeply understand the local customer needs of Brazilian farmers and the potential for technology solutions to help them be more productive, profitable, and sustainable.
• Deeply understand the current global Precision Ag portfolio and roadmap – for onboard (embedded) and offboard (digital) solutions and be an expert in John Deere’s Precision Ag system.
• Use product utilization metrics, feedback from internal teams and dealers, and customer discovery techniques to fully understand the current state of Precision Ag in Brazil
• Develop and maintain a prioritized analysis of problems to be solved and features, enhancements and new solutions required to meet local needs in Brazil.
• Collaborate with other global Product Managers to advocate for regional needs and prioritize regional needs in roadmaps.
• For select solutions where Brazil is the lead market, discover customer needs, develop with cross functional teams solutions, and lead the customer validation to bring solutions to market.
• For new global solutions and enhancements, lead local customer discovery and validation and deliver feedback back to global product teams to ensure that new solutions meet the needs of Brazil farmers at initial launch.
• Partner with regional Product Marketing and Customer Success teams to develop and achieve key success metrics for Precision Ag in Brazil, including awareness, adoption and utilization.

Needed skills

• Required
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer science, Business, Agronomy, or similar .
  • Advanced English (reads and composes emails autonomously, answers phone calls and conducts meetings and trainings).
  • Experience in product management or product development.
  • Knowledge and experience with precision ag technology.
  • Ability to think strategically and can understand the detail of complex problems.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate initiatives that span multiple teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build strong relationships globally.
  • Willingness to travel 40% including travel to the United States.
