Job Responsabilities

• Be the SA representatives on the Global Agronomy and Farm Solutions team – Partner with farmer customers to understand farm finance and agronomic challenges;
• Lead field research to identify and value key agronomic opportunities to inform product development;
• Assist with agronomic evaluation of AGCO machines and solutions during prototype phase;
• Partner with marketing to develop agronomic demonstration plans for machines and solutions during the launch phase;
• Interface directly with farmers, dealers, and AGCO stakeholders to identify and plan on-farm research;
• Share results of on-farm research with growers, dealers, and AGCO stakeholders at field events, dealer meetings, farm shows, company meetings, and conferences.

Requirements

• Self driven, innovative, problem-solving, and solutions-oriented mindset;
• Fluent in Portuguese and English;
• Technical experience working in the AG industry in a role containing precision agriculture and selling with agronomy preferred;
• Commercially thinking with deep agronomic understanding;
• Must be technical and data orientated (understand the equipment and the data it generates and how this effects the agronomic process on a farm);
• Sound understanding of statistical analysis;
• Candidate should be proficient in the use of a personal computer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.);
• Ability to work in the heat or cold outside and able to walk and work unassisted in fields.
